Positive findings is back on the press !

After 10 missed issues Sweeny Hospital's newsletter Positive Findings is being published again. Ironically the last 10 months have had a great deal of positive news happening. The delay was due to the employee that was publishing the Positive Findings leaving the hospital to pursue a new job opportunity. Employees have volunteered to take over the publishing duties. They quickly discovered their current responsibilities were increasing also, not allowing them the needed time. It is regretted that a great deal of positive news at the hospital has happened and not been published. A special web page is being created to announce the employees that are in different positions over the last several months. The new Positive Findings publisher is Michelle Gonzalez, she can be emailed at Michelleg@sweenyhospital.org to be given information for publishing.  Michelle plans on having the Positive Findings published monthly. As always there is a link across the top of the home page for accessing the current and past editions of the Positive Findings.

Woman Of the Year

Sweeny Hospital employees have always known Audrey Bess was a special person. Now the citizens all around the area realize how special she is.  She was awarded the "Woman of the Year" award at the Chamber of Commerce Banquet. It is rumored that at the Chamber of Commerce banquet the speaker mentioned the candidate worked at the hospital. Audrey immediately began looking at the table that had several hospital employees at it,  trying to see who was being described. Needless to say she was surprised when her name was announced. Audrey is pictured with a crown, scepter and frills given to her by co-workers.  The hospital employees are very proud of Audrey and she is a perfect example of the hospital's slogan "You'll Know We Care".    Congratulations Audrey !!!!!

Dr. Leal is here !!!!!!

A new doctor is in town! Dr. Enrique Leal started seeing patients March 3rd 2008 at the professional office building at Sweeny Hospital. Leal Family Clinic is in suite E and the phone number is 979-647-1265. Dr. Leal also has plans to see patient's one day a week in West Columbia at the Kittie Nash Groce Rehabilitation Center on Dance Street.  Dr. Leal is a native Texan  from Boerne and is relocating from San Augustine Texas.
